The resulting hand-crafted wines show his talent at creating a pure expression of wine from selected grapes and barrels. The cognoscenti of wine lovers have found these treasures and most are sold through the “Select 100” wine club. Colorado has obtained its allocation for 2007 and you are invited to preview the wines at an exclusive event. The limited-production wines will be available for purchase through Superior Brands and Uncorked in Windsor.

Wines Ramian Estate Viognier “05, Suisun Valley (35 cases) The micro climate of this valley is perfect for growing Viognier. Warm sunny days along with a constant cool breeze yield optimum conditions for achieving perfect ripeness. Bananas and immense amounts of white tropical fruits provide a telling story on the nose that carries of perfectly onto the palate and soft long, lingering finish.
Ramian Estate Grenache Rose '05 California (very limited) Cold Soaked on the skins for 24 Hours, this saignée is made in the classic Tavel style. Aged for 7 months in seasoned French Oak, this wine is dominated by fresh rose petals and bright red fruits with a rich mouthful ripe red tropical fruits and classic holiday spices.
Inspired by the wines of Spain , this is the style you would enjoy if you were there. Rose petals, liquorice, cloves and candied red fruits on the nose with a dry, full bodied, voluptuous mouthfeel of fresh strawberries, rhubarb and ripe red cherries in the mid-palate. The finish is a very long, rich mouthful of holiday spices and dark red raspberries. This wine is much bigger than one would expect, solely based on appearance.
The rocky hillside vineyard of Cinnamon Hill creates Nebbiolo and Dolcetto of exceptional quality. Dried flowers with a black cherry, spicy and cedary nose. Elegant black currants and red raspberries are the foundation for this traditional Barolo style wine. This wine is very round, well balanced and has a long multilayered finish of succulent black fruits, over ripe figs, velvety sweet oak and a touch of cinnamon.
On the nose this wine has an old world elegance and shows dark black fruits, coffee, black liquorices, smoked meats and sweet vanilla. A big fat opulent mouthfeel of ripe blackberries, coffee beans and chocolate dominate the mid-palate with a long toasty oak finish. This is a elegant, multidimensional, well balanced atypical Napa Valley red wine.
