Terms and Conditions CATERING MENUS: All of our catered event menus can be customized to fit your event: We can supply food to cover anything from receptions to full dining experiences. Your selection affects the cost of the food only. Pricing for additional equipment, staff and services will be provided separately. Please note that all prices are subject to change without notice, and all price changes are based on several factors, including market fluctuations and product availability. All of our prices are subject to applicable local and state sales taxes. As necessary, we reserve the right to make substitutions to assure the quality of our product. Contact our event coordinator for questions regarding customized menus, or fill out the attached catering request form to begin scheduling your event. REQUIRED NOTICE: Because of scheduling demands, we kindly ask you to schedule your event as far in advance as possible to guarantee your menu choices and delivery time. Short notice catering orders may be subject to additional charges. GUEST NUMBER GUARANTEE: Catering charges are partially based on the number of guests attending. Therefore, we require you to provide the final number of guests no later than 5 business days before your event. All charges are based on the greater number between guaranteed or actual attendance. If the guaranteed attendance is not supplied within one week before the event, we will use the tentative attendance supplied on the catering request form as the guarantee. Any request to increase the guarantee within the week prior to your event is subject to the chef’s approval and may be subject to additional charges. DELIVERIES: Chimney Park offers delivery on catering orders of $200 or more. If you prefer to pick up your order, we will make arrangements for you to pick it up during normal business hours. All warm dishes will be cold when you pick them up and will come with reheating instructions. Any equipment supplied by Chimney Park must be returned within 48 hours of the event. In some cases, special arrangements can be made to return Chimney Park’s equipment after the 48 hours. However, the organization making the arrangements assumes all responsibility for broken, lost or stolen equipment. SERVICE STAFF: For events requiring service staff, Chimney Park can supply staff for the length of your event. We bill you separately at an hourly rate, and a 3-hour minimum applies to all service staff. Gratuity is not included in the rates and is left to the discretion of the host.
FULL SERVICE FEE: Chimney Park applies an additional service fee of 20% for all full-service events (what we consider table-service dinner that includes wait staff). The service fee is based solely on the costs of food and beverages. This additional service fee covers all of the behind-the-scenes needs common to planning an event. It includes the consultation time, the artful presentations and the many kitchen, clean-up and support staff needed to guarantee a successful event. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: If you want alcoholic beverages at your catered event, Chimney Park will make arrangements with outside vendors to supply beer, wine, a full bar, mixers, ice, soft drinks and any additional supplies. While we will assist you in the selection process, ordering and delivery of alcohol, Chimney Park assumes no liability or responsibility for the service of alcoholic beverages to guests or to minors. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Chimney Park also offers a full range of additional services: equipment rentals, décor, entertainment, assistance in locating facilities and more. Contact our event coordinator for additional information. TERMS: Confirmation: Once all arrangements have been made, Chimney Park will fax or mail a contract to you. It is your responsibility to verify the date, time, location and additional details of the event. If the information is correct, the signed contract should be returned by mail or by fax. Any changes to the event or to the contract may result in additional charges to be added to your final invoice. Payment: Chimney Park requests a 20% deposit at the time of booking. In the event of a cancellation after booking, your deposit is subject to forfeiture. Chimney Park charges 80% of the projected amount for any cancellation made less than 48 hours prior to the date of the scheduled event. Past-due accounts are subject to a 1.5%-per-month finance charge. Payment Methods: Chimney Park gladly accepts payment by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, cash or check for all catering charges. SERVICES PRICES SUMMARY
