Wine and Cheese Tasting!
Beginning on Sunday April 27th, Chimney Park will host a wine and cheese tasting on the last Sunday of every month. We pick a region of the world, wines and cheeses that are produced in that area - you simply get to come and sample! Join chef Jason Shaeffer and grape guru Todd Hinton as they share their knowledge and anecdotes of the what/when/where and why's of cheese and wine. The cost is $25 per person, 4 wines, 4 cheeses and a barrel full of fun! 4 to 5 pm, by reservation only.

Spring has sprung and a new menu with it - yes, the halibut is back! Along with striped bass, scallops, and crab...seafood and delicate spring vegetables are the focus. Look for wild king salmon to appear soon - locally grown organic vegetables from Wolf Moon Farms in Wellington as well.

Operation Frontline Colorado Chooses Jason Shaeffer for Star Reception Chef!
Operation Frontline Colorado, a Share Our Strength program, is holding its fourth annual Chefs Up Front Boulder dinner at 5:30 p.m. on June 1, 2008 at the St. Julien. Chimney Park Restaurant and Bar's chef and owner, Jason Shaeffer, will present innovative hors d' oeuvres for the Star Reception Chef and Silent Auction prior to the seated dinner.

Chefs Up Front provides diners with a rare opportunity to sit "ringside" while a star chef hosts and prepares a multi-course dinner that showcases the style and cuisine of his or her restaurant. Dishes are expertly paired with wine selections from around the world. This format provides an intimate, memorable dining experience that can't be replicated anywhere else. Operation Frontline, a Share Our Strength program, is a national nutrition education and financial literacy program developed to address the root causes of hunger and food insecurity in the United States.
